The Ventura Unified School District backpacks and supplies project.
The Ventura Unified School District backpacks and supplies project was held on Saturday morning August 20th. It was well attended by over 30 club members and their families from three Ventura Rotary Clubs and the Ventura Lions Club. The effort yielded 600 backpacks for middle school and high school students.
On Monday August 22 approximately 120 backpacks were delivered to Cabrillo Middle School, Sheridan Way Elementary School and Loma Vista Elementary School.
