New County of Ventura Clerk-Recorder & Registrar of Voters Michelle Ascencion made history when she was the first woman and first person of color elected to the position in the County’s 150 year history, in the June 2022 Primary Election.
Ms. Ascencion brings nearly 20 years of local government service to the office at various agencies including the City of Port Hueneme, the Ventura Regional Sanitation District, and the City of Oxnard.
